Oil Painting - “Caught Inside”

“Caught Inside” is an original oil painting by Nick Davison of the breaking waves in North Cornwall, UK. Nick painted the picture in 2023 with the original measuring 30X30 cm painted on canvas board and framed in black floating frame. The “Caught Inside” design is inspired from that moment when the ocean reaches its breaking point. To surfers this moment is known as being “caught inside” as the breaking wave potentially prevents them from reaching the rideable waves beyond without duck diving through the breaking wave.
