Caught Inside

“Caught Inside” is an original oil painting by Nick Davison of the breaking waves in North Cornwall, UK.  The composition of the painting is inspired from that moment when the ocean reaches its breaking point. To surfers this moment is known as being “caught inside” as the breaking wave potentially prevents them from reaching the rideable waves beyond without duck diving through the breaking wave. There is also a moment of extreme anticipation of what is to come!
