Daymer Bay is a sheltered beach on the banks of the River Camel where it meets the Celtic Sea, and Atlantic Ocean beyond, at Padstow Bay. It’s a perfect place for having a lazy day at the beach, for swimming, sunbathing and playing in the sand. A great place to relax and unwind. The painting is inspired by just that, a family day out where we just hung out Ona bright sunny day, messed about in the sea and sand and enjoyed our picnic and the simple pleasures of beach life. One of those days you just don’t forget.
