Daymer Bay is a sheltered beach on the banks of the River Camel where it meets the Celtic Sea, and Atlantic Ocean beyond, at Padstow Bay. It’s a perfect place for having a lazy day at the beach, for swimming, sunbathing and playing in the sand. A great place to relax and unwind. The painting is inspired by just that, a family day out where we just hung out Ona bright sunny day, messed about in the sea and sand and enjoyed our picnic and the simple pleasures of beach life.
