Polzeath - Original Cornish Beach Painting

One of Cornwall’s gems, Polzeath, epitomises the very best of outdoor family holidays with a wonderful beach, great surf and views to die for.
The inspiration for the painting is the retreating tide, leaving pools in the wet sands as it goes. I painted this from a view in front of the beach car park and luckily it was a day where no cars were left stranded on the beach. Not a day for sunbathing but beautiful to behold all the same.
