Considered one of the UK’s finest beaches, Porthcurno is a stunning beach, bordered by the equally beautiful but less easily accessed Pedn Vounder and the Minack Theatre on the cliffs above. The painting captures the distinct turquoise and blue hues of the sea when we visited in June. The tide was coming in and already lapping around the foot of the cliffs. The painting, measuring 38x20cm is painted in oils on wooden board and framed in a white wooden frame (frame measures 52x35cm), ready to hang.
