The Path to the Beach - Original Gwithian Oil Painting

Travelled by Gwithian locals and holiday makers alike, this sandy path takes you past Churchtown Farm and the holiday chalets, across the dunes and down to the beauty of Gwithian Beach.  Simply beautiful and one of Cornwall’s finest, and one of my favourites!
I painted this late in the afternoon as the sun started to fall in the sky, dropping down towards the horizon to create that evening’s sunset which duly followed.

The picture is painted in traditional oils and the colours of the reflections on the water really ping and will brighten any room, providing a central focal point.
